Manuel passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the age of 87 years. He is survived by Carmen Beltran, his wife of 62 years. His children, Elvia Herrera (Jose Luis), Santos Beltran, Rosario Beltran, Manuel Beltran, Jr. (Diana); grandchildren, Dai Herrera, Jose Luis Herrera, II, (Lynette), Krystal Hussong (Walter), Samantha Beltran, Corbin Beltran; great-grandchildren, Nayeli Salerno.
During his early years Manuel was employed in construction by some of the largest companies in San Antonio, Tx. In the late 1970’s he joined the self employed ranks building and remodeling numerous homes. His favorite hobby was gardening.
Visitation will be held at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at San Juan de los Lagos Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery # 2.
