Manuel Dr. Farina

Dr. Manuel Farina of San Antonio, Texas was born to Fernanda Diaz and Jose Farina on October 25, 1923 in La Habana, Cuba. In 1969 our Father moved his family to Texas from Cuba to start a new life that provided us with the freedom that this wonderful country offers. He established a practice in Psychiatry with our mother Dr. Violeta de los Angeles del Castillo in San Antonio until his retirement in 2007.

Our Father leaves behind his grateful and loving children and grandchildren, daughter Rosario Rossy Farina-Strauss, son-in-law Dieter Strauss and grandchildren Tyler Joseph and Elliot Jordan Strauss of Austin; son Jose Manuel Farina MD, daughter-in-law Cindy Farina and grandchildren Lauren and Jonathan Farina of San Antonio; daughter Ana Violeta Nichols Farina, son-in-law Michael Nichols and grandchildren Erica and Alex Nichols and wife Liz of Austin; and daughter Gloria Farina MD and grandchildren Griffin and Lauder Fairchock of Vero Beach.

We will miss our wonderful and loving Father very much but know that he will be with our Lord and our Mother looking over us until we reunite with them again in Heaven.
