Manuel is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jose Garcia. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Guadalupe Garcia, sons, Manuel Garcia Jr. and Marco Garcia; sisters, Maria Fox & her husband, Robert and Margarita Zendejo & her husband, Javier; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the San Antonio Food Bank.
