Manuel Garza Sr.

Manuel Garza a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend went to be with his lord on April 30, 2020 surrounded by his family. Our father has received his wings and went to walk with the angels at the age of 76. He is preceded in death by his mother Carmen Garza and father Pablo Garza and proceeded by daughter Lillie G. Valle

Manuel was born in San Antonio, Texas and was a very humble loving person who enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. He loved spending time with his family on Sundays eating barbacoa, chicharones with his Big Red and let’s not forget the avocado as he waited for a Dallas Cowboys game to begin. But most of all he loved spending time outside with his vegetables plants and flowers. He touched the lives of many people with his love and kindness. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He will be missed dearly.

Manuel is survived by four of his children, son Manuel Garza Jr. daughter Natalia G. Fernandez( Roy M. Fernandez), Emma G Espinoza, Irene R Garza, his thirteen grandchildren, Christina Garza, Jessica Valle, Kimberly Valle, Brenda Valle, Manuel Garza III, Delma Lee Gusme, Benito Valle, Richard Garza, Amadi Espinoza, Roy M Fernandez Jr., Shimmery Espinoza, Peter M. Fernandez, Jennifer M. Fernandez,19 great grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.

Due to ongoing Covid1-9 restrictions, the family has decided to have a closed private family and church services to include only children and grandchildren to prevent the spread of Covid19 among our extended families. Family Service will commence on September 3rd, with Final Farewell service on September 4th and a Private Church service will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on September 5th
