

Manuel Delgado Martinez went to be with our Lord and savior on April 24, 2017 at the age of 76 surrounded by his loved ones. Manuel was born on April 26, 1940 in Aguascalientes, Mexico to the late Rogelio Delgado and Manuelita Delgado. He was one of nine children. At the age of 18, he moved to Brownsville, Texas, to pursue a lifelong career selling used cars and as an auto mechanic. He had a great passion for culinary. He loved to make grilled liver, eggs however you liked them, grilled steaks, salsa in a molcajete, and much more. Manuel always had a desire to always help others, whether it was with their vehicle or with whatever they were going through. The love Manuel had for music was astonishing. Whether it be when he was cooking, showering, or sleeping, he always had his music on. Manuel loved to dance to ranchero music with his favorite dance partner Alma. Even when he developed bad knees, he never turned down an invitation to dance with his daughter.
He is survived by his beloved wife Flora Delgado Garcia, his two children, Alma Robertson and Victor M. Delgado, Son-in-law Russell Edmonson, Daughter-in law Nelly Delgado and four grandchildren Joshua Robertson, Victor Delgado, Erica Robertson, and Jose Roberto Delgado. Sister Laura Ulloa, Brother Sergio Delgado. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
