Manuel was proud to be a graduate of La Joya High School, Class of 1972 and tried to keep in touch with many of his classmates. He spent most of his adult years working as a service representative in the banking industry. He loved Tejano music and he would always be seen wearing his cowboy hat and boots!
He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Rodriguez, Sr.; sisters, Irma Rodriguez, Oralia Rodriguez and Ninfa Bazan; and nephew, Samuel Garza Jr. Manuel is survived by his mother, Elida Rodriguez; sister, Maria Garza and husband Samuel; brother-in-law, Roberto Bazan; nieces and nephews, Mark Rodriguez, Jennifer Garza, Vanessa Bazan and Robert Bazan, Jr and wife Giovanna; as well as numerous other family members and many dear friends.
The family will hold a Memorial Service at a later date in his hometown of La Joya, Texas.
