Manuel Arispe Santoscoy was born on August 23, 1929, passed away peacefully June 20, 2026. Manuel, who was beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, lived a life filled with love, laughter, and simple joys that brought happiness not only to himself but to all who knew him.
Manuel enjoyed traveling, dancing, spending time with family and friends, and sharing good conversations over a glass of wine or a cold beer. He especially loved visiting the Kickapoo and making memories with those closest to him. One of his greatest passions was collecting coins, a hobby that brought him immense joy and fascination throughout his life. He took pride in his collection, always appreciating the history and stories behind each coin, and he delighted in sharing that passion with family and friends. Known among those who loved him was his infamous coin chain, which he proudly crafted himself and wore with pride, a treasured symbol of his creativity and love for coin collecting.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Jesus Santoscoy and Genoveva Arispe; his beloved grandson, Matthew Santoscoy Jr.; and his grandson, Joshua Solis.
Manuel leaves behind his devoted wife, Diana Santoscoy, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and memories. He is also survived by his children, Martha Santoscoy, Matthew Santoscoy, Maria Solis, Richard Donias, Laura Donias, Lorraine Cummings, Ida Loredo, and Javier Donias, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him endless pride and joy.
Manuel will be remembered for his warm spirit, his love of family, his appreciation for life’s simple pleasures, and his treasured coin collection, including the famous coin chain he made with his own hands. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him and in the many memories shared with him.
“Manuel always said that a cup of wine each day was the secret to a long life. Judging by the many years of love, laughter, and memories he gave to his family and friends, perhaps he was right.”
