Manuela Contreras

Manuela Gonzales Contreras, age 100, passed away December 28, 2019 in San Antonio, TX. She was born in Cotulla, TX on March 31, 1919 to Victor and Felipa Gonzales. She was a loving mother and friend who will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Denise, and brothers Phil and Johnny; Phil having passed away only a week earlier. She is survived by her son, Andrew Contreras.

It was her desire to remain at home where she eventually passed away, peacefully, in her sleep. She was loved by all neighbors and friends, including her constant loving companion, a pure snow white, blue-eyed cat named "Kitty".

The memorial service will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.
