She is preceded in death by her parents Antonio and Francisca Rodriguez; daughter, Margaret Cortinas; son, Juan Gomez and siblings, Belia Figueroa, Oralia Jasso and Roger Rodriguez.
She is survived by her son, George Gomez (Sylvia); daughters, Martha Gaitan (Cesar) and Lupe Cano; brothers, John Rodriguez and Pete Rodriguez; 21 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church with interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.
