Manuela "Nellie" Quiroga

November 19, 1967November 15, 2020

Manuela “Nellie” Quiroga, age 52, passed away November 15, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Fabens, Texas to Enrique and Socorro Anguiano on November 19, 1967. She is survived by her husband, Gregory Quiroga; children, Christopher Bryan Napier, Timothy Andrew Napier and Alejandro Quiroga; granddaughters, Mia Genesis Napier, and Gianna Grace Napier; parents, Enrique and Socorro Anguiano; brothers, Jesus Anguiano, Pedro Anguiano, Alfredo Anguiano, Carlos Anguiano; sisters, Zenaida Quiroz, and Veronica Anguiano.

Our beautiful, beloved Nellie was a wonderful, fun, loving soul. She was the best friend anyone could have ever asked for. We take comfort and solace that you are now in the presence of our Lord. Your love for God was admirable and motivating. As our sister, you gave us unconditional love. Our childhood and teen adventures are beautiful memories that we were blessed with. Your love and resilience as a young mother was utterly exceptional and commendable. You were a magnificent mother and glamorous grandma who was so loving toward and protective over her sons and granddaughters. You were an amazing daughter, cooking for and pampering our parents as if they were royalty. Oh, how you made them proud. Your nieces and nephews always saw and admired your happiness and excitement for life. Your cousins loved you so much. All of your friends knew that they could count on you. Childhood friends held and will continue to hold dear memories of you, just as the rest of us will. Above all, you were the most selfless, generous person we all knew and probably will ever know. In everything that you did, you made sure to put others before yourself. You deserved the world, but, now, you were called home. You will never be forgotten, as you will live in our hearts forever. You left an unparalleled legacy, and you are unbelievably missed. Until we see each other again, dance your heart away in Heaven, sweet Nellie.
