Born on November 5, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas, Marc was the son of the late Rosemary Heath Darrow and Alfred Booth. Marc spent his career of 45 years as a flight attendant, where he touched countless lives with his kindness, grace, and professionalism in the skies.
Marc was passionate about contemporary art, especially Texan artists, and also loved the works of Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol. Marc was a fervent rockhound in central Texas where he shared a piece of land in the Hillingdon Family Ranch located in Kendall County. Marc was also an antique furniture enthusiast and cherished the collection of old family portraits.
Marc is preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary Darrow and father, Alfred G. Booth. He is survived by his husband, Daniel Campos, daughter Elise Campos, step-son Sebastien, grandsons Hugo and Rafael, daughter Laura Campos, granddaughters Lianne and Emma. Marc is also survived by his stepmother Maureen Booth, his brother Fred Booth and wife Debbie, his stepbrother Jeff and his late stepsister Donna.
A graveside service will be held to honor Marc’s life on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Mission Burial Park South, 1700 SE Military Dr., San Antonio, TX 78214 and followed by a gathering at The Board Couple restaurant, 804 High St Suite B, Comfort, TX 78013 from 3pm to 5pm.
Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate the memory of a life beautifully lived.
Marc will be remembered for his gentle heart, adventurous spirit, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. He will be deeply missed.
