With deep affection, we lovingly remember Marc A. Garcia, who graced this world for 42 years until he peacefully departed on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on June 11, 1981, in Houston, Texas, Marc brought joy to his parents, Manuel Garcia Jr. and Anna P. Garcia, from the very beginning.
Marc had a passion for baseball, he embraced from his early days in little league all the way until his high school years. His allegiance was split between the New York Yankees and the Houston Astros, where he found endless excitement. Yet, his love for the outdoors was just as boundless. Whether he was swinging golf clubs at the driving range, honing his aim at the shooting range, and maybe secretly enjoyed fishing. Marc found solace and joy in nature's embrace.
From a tender age, Marc harbored a fascination with law enforcement, a calling that guided him to pursue a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Sam Houston State University. It was during his time there that he crossed paths with Fran. Relocating to San Antonio in 2012, Marc embarked on a career with Bexar County, dedicating 12 years at the County.
On January 25, 2013, in the heart of San Antonio, Marc and Fran exchanged vows, beginning their journey together. Their love blossomed further with the arrival of their daughter, Isabella (Izzy), on March 25, 2013.
Marc's mischievous spirit was as undeniable as his infectious smile, often leaving us in fits of laughter with his playful pranks and surprises. His laughter resonated like music, warming the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Though Marc may have departed from our sight, his memory remains eternally cherished in our hearts. We celebrate the love, laughter, and light he brought into our lives, forever grateful for the privilege of having known such a remarkable person. Rest peacefully, dear Marc, knowing you are forever loved and dearly missed.
