Marcelino (Marcelo) Castillo age 73, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on 6/22/21. He is survived by his wife, Grace, daughters Chastity (Tuoc) and Summer. His grandchildren include Ryan, Morgan, Mason, Addy and Graycen. His surviving siblings are Sally (Servando), Maggie, Dolores, Juan, Mona (Frank), Estela, Paula (Terry) and many nieces & nephews.
Marcelo served in the US Navy during the Vietnam war from 1969 – 1971. He was in special forces in the underwater demolition team. He came home after being wounded there.
His family would like to thank the many kind and caring doctors and nurses at North Central Baptist who went above and beyond to care for him throughout his long illness.
Services for Mr. Castillo will be held at 7:00 pm Friday July 2, 2021 @ Porter Loring North. A mass will be held at St. Gregory the Great on Saturday July 3, 2021 @ 10:00 am.
