Marcos Martinez

Pastor Marcos E. Martinez moved to heaven on April 12, 2011. He is pastor and worship leader of Second Chance Christian Fellowship in San Antonio, Texas. Pastor Marc leaves to cherish his memory his high school sweetheart and wife of 25 years, Rhonda Belliveau Martinez; sons, Marcos Martinez II, Anthony Martinez, Vincent Martinez and Isaiah Martinez; grandson Anthony Martinez, Jr.; parents Mario M. and Consuelo Martinez; brother Mario M. Martinez II; father and mother-in-law Ronald and Rosa Belliveau; and sisters-in-law Isabel Bowie and husband Wesley, Belinda Cisneros and husband Richard and Becky Zepeda; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 14, 1967. He graduated from John Jay High School and was an all-state trumpet player and guitarist. He earned a Bachelor of Theology degree from International Theological Seminary in Bradenton, Florida. Pastor Marc began his ministry as an evangelist preaching and singing across the United States, and in 2000 was ordained pastor of Second Chance Christian Fellowship. He was licensed Christian counselor, music composer and song writer, a member of the Presidential Prayer Team, and the San Antonio Association of Churches. The family thanks the entire staff at Christus Santa Rosa Westover Hills for their love and compassion. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Faith Outreach International, 3806 Sunshine Ranch, San Antonio 78228. The funeral service is Monday, April 18, 2011, 11:00 am at Faith Outreach International. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery at Cordi-Marian, 11624 Culebra, San Antonio.
