He was born August 28, 1926, in Essex, Missouri, to Marcus and Mary Grant.
Marcus proudly served his country in the US Army and was an accountant with various companies. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will greatly be missed.
Marcus is survived by loving wife, Virginia Grant; children, Marcus L. Grant, III and wife, Wanda, Mavis L. Brown and husband, Rick, and Donald J. Grant; grandchildren, Ricky, Jr., Kyle, Scott, Aubrie, Chris, Michael, and Philip; and 4 great-grandchildren.
