She married Fabian A Jarzombek in 1961. Family was of utmost importance to Margaret, and her greatest happiness came from being a mother and grandmother and taking care of children. She was a loving and devoted mother, always encouraging her children to follow their dreams and giving her support in countless ways. She also was a constant babysitter for the children of relatives, friends, and neighbors. Her children were involved in all kinds of activities (sports, music, band, etc.) and she was always driving them to and from their events and watching them perform. She was also involved at their schools as a homeroom mom, PTC member, school festival booth leader, testing assistant, and cafeteria worker. In later years she also worked at Southeast Baptist Hospital in several different areas including Housekeeping, Childcare and lastly in Telemetry as an EKG monitor tech, but her favorite job at the hospital by far was caring for the babies in Childcare.Margaret also had an artistic side. She was a talented cake decorator, spending many years creating beautiful wedding and special occasion cakes for a great number of friends and family. Despite not having any formal skills or training, she entered contests and often won prize ribbons for her creative work. She was even meticulous when it came to baking cookies for her adult sons and daughters every Christmas - she would make lots of different kinds of cookies for them to take home to their families, and the cookies were always baked and decorated to her same high standards. She also had a great passion for flowers and oversaw the creation of floral arrangements for St. Anthonys Orthodox Church for several years.Margaret was very religious and enjoyed going to church every Sunday. In her earlier years, she attended Mission San Jose Catholic Church and belonged to the Altar Society. In her later years and until her passing, she was a parishioner at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
