Margaret Elaine (Peggy) Bissett

Margaret (Peggy) Elaine Bissett entered into eternal rest after a brief battle with cancer, May 2, 2015, surrounded by her children. Peggy was a 29-year employee of the City of Leon Valley as a Library Technician at the Leon Valley Public Library. She was born in Brooklyn New York, and raised in Lynbrook on Long Island. As a military spouse, she also spent time in Germany, Turkey, and Japan. She spent the last 44 years of her life in San Antonio. She was very happy in her recent retirement traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed volunteer work in the library, as well as at the gift shop at Warm Springs Rehabilitation Center.

She is survived by her brother Kenneth Johnson and family, and her four children; Andrea Dinmore, Kenneth and Tracy Bissett, Jean and Chad Bienhoff, and Julie and Jeff Jumper; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 7, 2015, 6-8 pm at Sunset Funeral Home Northwest, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238.
