

Margaret Rolle Dullnig (affectionately known as Gar Gar), born in Houston, Texas, November 19, 1919, died peacefully May 25, 2009, surrounded by family and friends.
She attended San Jacinto High School in Houston, Texas and the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in June 1941. While attending the University of Texas she was a Kappa Alpha Theta where she served as president in 1940.
She also was a Bluebonnet Belle and a Goodfellow. She loved the Lord, and she loved her church, First Presbyterian, where she was a loyal member since 1942. She was a member of the Battle of Flowers Association, the Junior League of San Antonio, the San Antonio Country Club, and was a founding member of the Revelers Dance Club.
She generously donated her time and talents to the Christian Assistance Ministry and the Ivy Cottage. Margaret was an unselfish, caring, giving, and loving lady. She was a beautiful witness to her family and friends of God's grace and love, and we will miss her terribly.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, George E. Dullnig; and her brother, Richard E. Rolle.
She is survived by her loving family, sons, George R. and wife Celeste, Richard E. and wife, Sue, and Robert M. and wife, Jeannie; grandchildren, Walt Powell, Jordan, Richard R. and wife, Tammy, David R. and wife, Valerie, Amy S., Robert A., and Margye and husband, McCann; great grandchildren, Tyler, Trey, Avery, Jack, Maggie, Madeline, and Syble; sister-in-law, Zat Rolle; and niece and nephew, Mary Louise Ririe Masters and Glen Ririe.
