Margaret F. Elliott

Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Margaret F. Elliott, passed from this life on Saturday, September 11, 2010. She was born on June 2, 1925 in Lockhart, Texas, to Rupert and Cleo Harris Cornitius. She met Richard F. Elliott and they were married at the Chapel at Fort Sam Houston on July 28, 1945 and recently celebrated their 65th anniversary. She spent most of her life in San Antonio, TX as an excellent homemaker to her family.

She is loved and will be missed by her husband, Richard, their 2 daughters Diane Paschal of Corpus Christi, Barbara Stalbird and her husband Bobby of Boerne; her grandchildren Kevin Hartung and his wife Sarah of San Antonio; Karen Pack and her husband Mike of Corpus Christi; great-granddaughter Harlow Hartung of San Antonio; brother Wilbur Cornitius and his wife Arthurene of Wright, Kansas; sisters-in-law Betty Cory of Boone, Iowa and Rita Clark and her husband Melvin of Des Moines, Iowa; brother-in-law Harold Elliott of Jefferson, Iowa; numerous nieces and nephews, and many beloved friends. In her later years she was very active in the Ladies Auxillary to the Texas County Extension Service, serving as a District Director and Chapter President.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, September 13, 2010 at the Sunset Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
