Margaret L. Coons Galloway

Margaret Louise Coons Galloway born on January 4, 1930, in Owensboro, KY, joined the love of her life, Joseph A. Galloway, Sr. In Heaven on December 8, 2015. She was the eldest daughter of William and Lillian Coons and had six brothers and six sisters. She is survived by her children. Patricia K. Lange, Shirley A. Woodruff, Joseph A Galloway Jr., Teresa A. Garza, Philip M. Galloway, and Carol M. Galloway. Sons in law and daughters in law, fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren as well as numerous other family, extended family and friends.

She was a long time member of St. Paul’s Parish until she joined St. Pius X Parish in 1997. She was also a retired employee of Target. She was the true meaning of the matriarch of our family. She was the glue that held us together and will be missed more than words can express.

Her services are as follows: The Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 6:00 pm with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm. The funeral mass will be at 12 noon on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. The interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
