Dear Ms. Hudson, I know how you feel, my mother passed away in 1981. But, remember you have many memories of her that will never pass away. Today, I said a prayer for her and for you, because I know how much it hurts. 
She is with God in Heaven, a better place that we all must go to someday. Your mother must have been very proud of you because you are a good person.
