

She began her new life in heaven on March 9, 2010.
As a young lady, she watched the bombing of Pearl Harbor from her front porch. She got involved in the war working in the parachute department of Hickman Field. After the attack, she met her future husband, a handsome marine.
After many years living in Corpus Christi, she and her husband moved to San Antonio to be closer to their kids and grandkids.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, George M. Kratko; and her son Edward Mateo and wife Beverly of San Antonio and his children Linda Sue, Keith, Steven, Natalie, Jamie, John, and step-children; and their children; daughter, Bernie Kratko of San Antonio, daughter Priscilla Thompson and husband Hal and their children, Tyler and Kelsie of San Antonio; son Michael Kratko and wife Annette and their children Shaine and Michaela of Cascade, Colorado.
She was blessed to have many great grandchildren and even a few great great grandchildren. She always thought of others before herself and will be missed by many.
