Margaret J. Owen passed away peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2009 at the age of 94. She was born November 2, 1914 in San Antonio, Texas. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, James and Catherine Walker; and her loving husband of 37 years, Dave L. Owen. She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Owen of San Antonio; son, David Owen and wife, Kitty of Garden Ridge, Texas; and nephew, Richard Owen of San Antonio. Margaret was a long time member of Bethany Presbyterian Church and served as Treasurer of the Presbyterian Women's Association for many years. She enjoyed sewing, attending concerts and traveling, especially to Scotland, the homeland of her parents. Margaret was a loving mother and will be dearly missed.
