

Today Margaret Lindall Rohde is in the hands of God after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. “Peg” passed away in her home with family by her side on Wednesday, May 16th. Born November 24, 1941 the daughter of Fred and Betty Lindall of Minneapolis, Peg is survived by her loving husband William M. Rohde, children William M. Rohde, Jr. and wife Cynthia; Jay Stewart Rohde and wife Marianne, twin sister Patricia Clements, grandchildren Meaghan Elizabeth Rohde, William Callahan Rohde & Paxton Silver Rohde, nephews Sean Harrison, Trevor Harrison, William Clements, nieces Margaret Napier and Cathy Matthews.
Peg was a 1959 graduate Alamo Heights High School. She attended college at TCU in Ft. Worth where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She married husband Bill while still in college. They would have been married 50 years on June 25th. She had been a member of the Junior League of San Antonio. She served as chairman of the Channel 9 Art Auction in the late 60s, taught kindergarten for several years and until recently, Peg worked at Rooms and Gardens. A devoted wife and mother, she loved and enjoyed her family, holidays (especially Easter) and dogs Kandy, Thumper and Sugar Bear.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 20 from 5PM to 7PM at Sunset Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Monday, May 21 at 12PM at Sunset Funeral Chapel.
