
Margaret Fiser Walk, age 67 passed away on February 14. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on October 26, 1942, and died in San Antonio, on February 14, 2010. Margaret was a graduate of Alamo Heights High School in 1960 and The University of Texas in 1964 with a BS degree in Education and was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She taught English and Math for many years and held a real estate license since 1982 with Bradfield Properties. For eleven years she had her own clothing line, The San Antonio Collection, sold from her store on Blanco Road, and in many cities and markets around the US. She had a record of community service which began at UT and continued through many years. Margaret was a member of Alamo Heights United Methodist Church. She was a keeper of friendships. Margaret treasured her friends and nurtured them with all of her might. She met many of them in the first and second grades and they treasured their time together. Margaret would often say, "It was my great fortune that all of us from Alamo Heights went to The University of Texas and that the Mules mascot of Alamo Heights all became Longhorns." She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin L. Fiser and her mother, Eloise Barton Fiser Halton and her step-father, John C. Halton. Margaret is survived by daughters, Lori Seiderman and son-in-law Mark, Wendy Leasure and son-in-law Shawn, as well as her stepbrother, John Charles Halton III, and his wife Cheryl and many friends.
