Margarita M. Castillo

Margarita was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth and love touched all who knew her. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—watching movies, tending to her garden, baking and cooking for her family, caring for her beloved animals, shopping, and enjoying trips to the casino, especially Kickapoo. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the comforting aroma of her cooking.

She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 67 years, Julio Castillo, and her cherished children, Elizabeth Castillo and Julian Castillo.

Margarita’s memory will forever live in the hearts of her loving children: Maria Mendiola, Alvino Castillo, George Castillo, and Veronica C. Robledo; as well as her numerous grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who will continue to honor her legacy of love, strength, and devotion to family.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

A Memorial Visitation will be held in her honor at Funeraria del Angel Trevino, located at 226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, Texas, 78237. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on January 23, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, A Memorial Prayer service will take place on the same day at 6:00 pm.
