Marguerite Martha Davis

She was born in Waelder, Texas on March 24, 1914 to Eugene (Bud) Davis and Georgia Etta Poole Davis.

Marguerite was active in civic organizations such as the Business Women's Club, Zonata Club, PEO Chapters and long time volunteer at the PEO Home as hostess. She was also a long time member of St. Andrews Methodist Church.

Marguerite studied accounting at St. Mary's University and pursued a career in merchandising at Winn's Stores and the Army Air Force Exchange Service.

She was preceded in death by her parents Eugene (Bud) Davis and Georgia Etta Poole Davis, sister, Eugenia Davis and brother, George Benjamin Davis.

Marguerite is survived by nephews Brian and wife, Shirley and their daughter Anna Davis Kline; Mark and wife, Gayla, and their children Amy Davis Simson and Greg Davis and his daughter Madison.

The family would like to thank Rosealee Camara for her caring friendship for Marguerite.
