'Mrs. Drury was a kind, caring, and an excellent Christian woman. Though she went through many difficult times, I never heard her complain. Every time that I spoke with her, I was encouraged and wanted to do what was right. I always left her house blessed because of her, and also Mr. Drury when he was alive. She knew me all of my life nearly 65 years as my family lived across the street from the Drury's when I was born. I called Mrs. Drury a couple of years ago; she was at least 100 so I did not know how sharp her mind would be. I told her who I was and asked if she remembered me. She said, Jeff, I will never forget you. I can certainly say the same about her. She will be missed, but what a blessing that the Lord gave her to us for nearly 103 years!'

'I am so blessed to have had this wonderful woman in my life for about 75 years. I thought of her as my 'other mother' since my mother died when I was 17. Ali and Frank were the ones I spent most time with. Our families lived in La Feria, Texas, back in the 40s. Fun times in a small town. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for the memories and for my phone calls in recent years with my Moddie. I can think of her now in heaven with my husband and my Oates family who are at home with Jesus.

'At 31 - I believe I may be her oldest great grandchild. I remember playing a few games of Monopoly and never even coming close to winning. (Thankfully she had other games, too) "Grandma D" (as I knew her) was one of the many examples of strong and courageous women in our family and I am so grateful that God picked me to be her great grandson. I have always viewed her as a leader and Matriarch, and will miss her. Her influence on me was paramount to my conviction in the Lord - I am not saddened, but extremely proud. She's walking with the Lord now and with her loved ones she'd had to say goodbye to in her lifetime. To that end I am happy for her and I know I will see her again only by the Grace of God.'

Praise God, that she was a woman of faith and that she was part of the great commission that God so lovingly entrusted to us. She will be rewarded for her service. 'We will always remember Marguerite. Her undying spirit, her love for the Lord and Hus children. Her love for her family. Her love of life. And her indomitable courage in living in her home by herself after going blind. We will miss her terribly, but know she is now with her Beloved Lord, whose face was the first she has been able to see in many years. May God grant us all the love she had for her Savior.'
