Marguerite E. Haswell passed away February 14, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Colonel Edward A. Haswell. She was born December 12, 1935 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, to Elmer J. and Corinne B Frantz.
She is survived by her four children, Edward A. Haswell and wife, Karla, Harold J. Haswell, Corrine H. Fines and husband, David, Jeffery L. Haswell and wife, Veronica. She had 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She dedicated her life to her family and over 30 years as a military wife. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, singing, china painting and being a great mother and grandmother.
Services will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 12 Noon. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Wounded Warriors Project at 12672 Silicon Dr. Suite 105, San Antonio, TX 78249.
