Born on July 4, 1929, in Piedras Negras, Mexico, Maria was the cherished daughter of Tomas Ayala and Ignacia Soriano. Throughout her life, she was deeply committed to her faith as a member of the Christian Church Assembly of God. Maria was also known for her incredible passion for sewing, a talent that she generously shared with family and friends.
Maria was married to her loving husband, Celso Aguilar, for 27 years. She was preceded in death by Celso, as well as her beloved sons, Juan Antonio Aguilar and Jose Luis Aguilar.
She leaves behind her son, Victor Manuel Aguilar, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her brother, Tomas Ayala. Her legacy of love, devotion, and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
A Visitation for Maria will be held Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237 with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM. A Chapel service will occur Monday, February 10, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home. A Processional will follow to San Fernando Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78226 for Burial.
Maria's gentle spirit and unwavering faith will be deeply missed, but her memory will continue to inspire those who loved her.
