Maria Isabel Arispe

Maria Isabel Gonzalez-Arispe of San Antonio went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 23rd. She was born to Jose Isabel and Francisca Gonzalez in 1923 in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. She married Salvador R. Arispe in 1942; immigrated to San Antonio on December 5, 1952; and became a citizen of the U. S. in 1966.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Salvador R. Arispe; her brothers, Onecino, Ignacio, Alfonzo, Felipe, Loucino, Jorge; her sisters, Blandina, Isabel, Julina, Esperanza, and Francisca. She is survived by her sons, Sal Arispe (wife, Judy), Ricardo Arispe; daughter, Lina Mitchell (husband Neal); grandchildren, Shane N. Mitchell (wife, Rebecca), Misty M. Mitchell-Arizpe; great grandchildren, Shane Alexander, Hudson Grey, Griffin Gage Mitchell; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 30th from 6-9 pm with Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 31st at 11:30 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church at 1114 Willow St; San Antonio, TX 78208 with committal to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
