Maria Cecilia Cobos, of San Antonio, Texas, died September 3, 2011. Cissy was born on October 27, 1962 in Alpine, Texas to Luis and Maria A. Cobos.
Maria was a 1982 Newman-Smith H.S. graduate. Cissy received her BS and Masters both in nutrition from Texas A&M.
She is survived by her parents Luis and Angie Cobos; brother, Dr. Victor Cobos and wife, Carol, of Denton, Texas; grandmother, Olivia C. Salinas of Carrollton, Texas; nephews, Christian and Nicholas Cobos of Denton, Texas; uncles, John Cobos and wife Lorraine, of Addison, Texas and Albert Cobos and wife, Maria of Odessa, Texas; aunt, Marta Faulkner; and numerous great aunts, great uncles and cousins.
