Maria "Chave" Covarrubias, 66, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2013. She is survived by her husband, Paul Covarrubias; children, Maria Isabel Curtiss and husband Pete, Pamela Covarrubias-Walker and husband Kris, Paul Covarrubias; granddaughter, Anastasia Curtiss; grandson, Stone Curtiss; sister, Emma Cristan; brother, Efrain Trevino and several nieces and nephews. The memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 North Loop 1604 East. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to the American Cancer Society.
