She is preceded in death by her parents, Tomas and Mercedes Gallegos; husband Jose Angel Cuellar; brothers, Jesus Gallegos, Juan Gallegos and Jose Gallegos and son-in-law, Jaime Barcenas.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Mary Ann Barcenas and Diane Olivo; granddaughters, Jaclyn Olivo and Janelle Olivo and sisters, Adelina Montero (Gene) and Ernestina Lopez.
Maria was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her granddaughters, and cooking her family delicious meals. Her family's' favorites are her albóndigas, mole and strawberry cakes that she made for every birthday. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery and gardening including her many beautiful rose bushes.
