Maria Cristina (Rodriguez) de la Garza

Maria Cristina (Rodriguez) de la Garza was accompanied by angels into eternal life on January 22, 2024. Cristina was born May 8, 1941 in Monterrey, NL, Mexico, to Rodolfo Leonardo Rodríguez (deceased) and Maria Soledad Sepúlveda Rodríguez (deceased).

She was part of a loving family with siblings Leticia Rodz Garza (deceased husband Carlos, six children, 11 grandchildren), Leonardo Rodolfo (wife Rosaena, two children), and José Gerardo (wife Rosa Maria, three children, three grandchildren).

Maria Cristina (Rodrígez) de la Garza acompañada por ángeles pasó a la vida eterna el 22 de enero de 2024. Cristina nació el 8 de mayo de 1941 en Monterrey, NL, México; hija de Rodolfo Leonardo Rodríguez (fallecido) y María Soledad Sepúlveda de Rodríguez (fallecida). Ella fue parte de una familia amorosa con sus hermanos Leticia (su difunto esposo Carlos, seis hijos y 11 nietos), Leonardo Rodolfo (su esposa Rosaena y dos hijos) y José Gerardo (su esposa Rosa María, tres hijos y tres nietos).

Cristina married the love of her life, Felipe Tomás de la Garza, on December 20, 1960. They raised six children, Felipe (wife Maria, children Gabriel and Marisol), Javier (wife Katherine, children Justin and Alejandro), Andrew (wife Flori), Theresa (husband Mathew, child Sophia), Yvonne, Patricia (husband Levi, child Luca).

Cristina se casó con el amor de su vida, Felipe Tomás de la Garza, el 20 de diciembre de 1960. Tuvieron seis hijos, Felipe (casado con María, sus hijos Gabriel y Marisol), Javier (casado con Katherine, sus hijos Justin y Alejandro), Andrés (casado con Flori), Theresa (casada con Mathew, su hija Sophia), Yvonne, Patricia (casada con Levi, su hijo Luca).

Cristina was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She cherished her children, was immensely fond of her daughters- and sons-in-law, and nothing brought her more joy than doting on her six grandchildren (or “munchkins” as she called them). Her pure expression of love inspired strong relationships between her own children and her family in Mexico. This will remain part of her legacy.

Cristina fue una esposa amorosa y una madre devota. Amaba a sus hijos, quería muchísimo a sus nueras y yernos, y nada le proporcionaba más alegría que mimar a sus seis nietos (o "munchkins", chiquillos en inglés, como ella los llamaba). Su genuina expresión de amor inspiró fuertes lazos entre sus propios hijos y su familia en México. Esto seguirá siendo parte de su legado.

To all, Cristina was immensely generous in spirit, compassion, creativity, and laughter. She leaves a legacy of love and cherished memories, and will be deeply missed.
