

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Irma Lozano Esquivel, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and cherished member of our family on July 13, 2024. Born on October 24, 1941, in Asherton, Tx., Irma was a beacon of love, kindness, and strength.
Irma dedicated her life to her family and her faith. As a devout Christian, she found great comfort and strength in her relationship with God. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life, inspiring those around her with her unwavering devotion and love.Irma will be dearly missed by all who knew her and will be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing.
Irma is survived by her children: Elizabeth Alvarado, Edna Esquivel, Jesus O. Esquivel Jr. Melda Martínez; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She was predeceased in death by her parents Oscar and Maria (Rubalcava) Lozano and her husband Jesus V. Esquivel.
In 2016, Irma faced the immense loss of her beloved husband, Jesus “Jesse” V. Esquivel, after sharing 56 wonderful years of marriage. Despite this loss, she continued to be a source of strength and love for her family, embodying resilience and dedication. Irma dedicated her life to her family, always putting their needs before her own. Her love was unconditional, and her home was always a place of warmth and comfort.
Irma’s legacy of love, strength, and unwavering support will be forever remembered by her family and all who knew her.
