Maria Aurora Guzman Gatlin, was born in Von Ormy, Texas on October 12, 1924. She passed away September 5, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Gatlin and her parents, Isabel Orosco Guzman and Lorenzo Guzman. She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Jean Melvani; son-in-law, Albert Melvani; granddaughter, Jaila Contreras and her husband and their 2 daughters; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road on Sunday, September 8, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 9, 2013 at St. Anthony Claret Catholic Church, 6150 Roft Road with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery #3.
