Maria G. Gonzalez, age 88, went to be with the Lord and earned her wings on Thursday, May 11, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on December 15, 1934, in Falfurrias, TX to Ambrosio and Matilda Garza. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Joe Patrick Gonzalez and Roel Gonzalez. Maria is survived by her sons, Humberto Gonzalez, David Gonzalez (Cynthia), and Xavier Gonzalez (Rebecca); grandchildren, Nita Monique Solis, Christopher (Jeanette), Michael, Adam, Aaron, Amber, Lauren, Xianna, Bianca, and Roy Gonzalez; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Rae, Antonio, Lauren, Sonny, Alexander, Justin, Jace, Amber, Madeleine, Johnny, Ariel, EmmaRose, Mia Renee, and Gabrielle Faith; and great-great grandchild, Elliot Chavarria. The family will receive guests from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Porter Loring Mortuary Downtown.
