Maria Elena Muñoz passed away surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and devotion. She will be remembered for her warm heart, unwavering strength, and the love she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her.
A devoted Catholic, Maria's faith was the foundation of her life. She found great joy in spending time with her family, tending to her plants, and preparing delicious meals that brought loved ones together. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and love, and she took great pride in caring for those around her.
Maria is survived by her loving daughter, Itzamara Riley; her son-in-law, William A. Riley; her cherished grandchildren, Mariah A. Garza, Mercedes M. Perryman, and William Riley Jr.; and her treasured great-grandson, Maximiliano Garza.
She is also survived by her beloved father, Carmen Muñoz; her siblings, Martin Muñoz, Asunción Muñoz, Benito Muñoz, Elodia Muñoz, Ramona Parker, and Irma González; along with numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
Maria was preceded in death by her mother, Josefina Gutierrez Muñoz, and her brother, Everardo Muñoz.
Maria Elena Muñoz will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her compassion, steadfast faith, generous spirit, and unconditional love will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of her family for generations to come.
