

Born on November 9, 1946, Maria lived a life rooted in love, faith, and family. She found joy in the simple but meaningful moments of everyday life, especially in her kitchen, where she was known for her homemade tortillas and tamales that brought everyone together. Her home was always filled with warmth, good food, and the laughter of the many grandchildren she adored spending time with.
Maria enjoyed watching homestead shows and most of all, she treasured reading her Bible, drawing strength from her faith and carrying it with her in everything she did.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Ramirez; her parents, Arnulfo and Maria de Jesus Cantù; her brother, Guadalupe Ramirez; and her daughter-in-law, Elvia Ramirez.
She is survived by her loving children: Martha Gonzalez, Olga (Juan) Ochoa, Samuel (Elvia) Ramirez, and Jorge (Jamie) Ramirez; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, San Juana Garza and Beto Cantù, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever hold her memory close.
Maria’s legacy is one of love, generosity, and deep faith, a life that touched countless hearts and continues to shine through all who knew her.
