Maria del Refugio Sánchez, born on August 4, 1921 in Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico, went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2014 at the age of 92. She is preceded in death by her parents; Felipe and Guadalupe Cadena, husband; Raul V. Sánchez, and her daughter in laws; Maria De Jesus “Maya” and Carolyn Sánchez. She is survived by her children; Raul C. Sánchez, Gloria Sánchez, Jesse Sánchez (Myrna), Felipe Sánchez (Christina), as well as her 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St .John Berchman’s Catholic Church with Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Arrangements under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, San Antonio, TX.
