Mari was born in San Antonio Texas, to Maria Arispe and Eloy Arispe Sr., on July 16, 1963. She attended and graduated from Holmes High School in San Antonio Texas, and was a proud Husky, class of 81’. She worked for and retired from USAA after 38 honorable years of service. She met the love of her life, Andrew Rendon at USAA, and married him on October 11, 1991, in San Antonio Texas, and they spent 33+ cherished years together.
Mari was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was the rock, spine, pillar, heart, and glue to her family. Family meant everything to her, and nothing brought her more joy than to be surrounded by her loved ones. She loved her family and friends deeply, and even through her sickness she did everything she could to make sure all were taken care of and knew how much she loved them. She instilled her faith in Jesus Christ into her family, as she was a firm and proud believer of our Lord and savior. She loved her 70’s and 80’s music, and when she was able, she loved to listen to live music and dance the night away, as she was our dancing queen. She loved her second home in Rockport Texas, where she got to spend quality time with family and friends making memories over food, drinks, laughter, fishing, and the ocean air. She loved to travel and make new memories with her beloved family and was able to visit many different destinations across the globe in her lifetime. She leaves behind many who will love and miss her dearly and her biggest wish was that the legacy she leaves behind continues to flourish in all of us.
