

Marie Helen Flores Falcon, born July 2, 1921 in Lawton, Oklahoma, the daughter of Demasio Flores and Maria Deanda Flores died during the morning of November 16, 2011, in San Antonio, Texas, at the home of her daughter.
As a young girl, Marie and her family moved from Lawton to Big Spring, Texas, and then on to San Antonio where she made her confirmation at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, on November 26, 1933, and where, on November 14, 1937, she married Paul B. Falcon. They were married over 57 years and raised two daughters, Anna Marie Petermann of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, and Rosalyn Falcon Collier.
Marie, an avid seamstress, retired from the Sears Central Park, as a department manager. She then went on to become, with her husband Paul, a successful stained glass and ceramic artist and instructor.
Marie enjoyed and celebrated her daughters and their families, always welcoming them into their home where they shared and enjoyed her fine Mexican cuisine in an atmosphere of warmth and happiness.
Mimi was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Paul; brother, Ernest Flores; sister Margaret Delgado; and her son-in-law Richard Paul Petermann.
Mimi is survived by her sister Alice Garcia; daughters Anna Marie Petermann of Ft Walton Beach, FL; and Rosalyn and Jim Collier of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Richard and Merritt Petermann, and Steven and Tonya Petermann both of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; James and Midela Collier of San Antonio and Rosalyn Marie Collier of Gaithersburg Maryland; eleven great grandchildren, two great, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was very much loved and memories of her will be always treasured.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 1, 2011, at Porter Loring Mortuary North Chapel.
