She was supportive of her husband's thirty year military career with two overseas tours of duty and various assignments in the United States. She embraced the military life and always was very involved. An artist and painter, she loved antiques, especially antique jewelry and perfume bottles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Ivan John "Johnny" Kreft.
She is survived by her son, James J. Kreft Rosa of San Diego, CA; daughters, Karla Kreft of Costa Mesa, CA, Donna Garrett Haven Snow of Graham, Pam Flentge Cecil of San Antonio, and Lori Karhu Jack of San Antonio; brother, Clyde McClanahan Lindy of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, John, Del, Ivan, Billy and John, and numerous nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
