Elizabeth Marie Priest passed away at the age of 76 in her hometown of San Antonio, TX. She was born on October 11, 1942 to George Wilford and Violet Edith McGarvin. She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 48 years: Arnold Priest; daughter: Annette Langendorff and son: Tommy Priest. She is survived by her loving children: Terry Priest (Mary), Julie Hall (Eddie), Lisa Hillje (Scott); grandchildren: Ashley, Lane, Lauren, Kelsey, Violet, Sara, John, Tiffany, Crystal, Steven, Trevor, Denise, Dana, Dorothy, JT, April, Andrew, Anthony, Tony, Amber; 27 great-grandchildren, her special fur baby Sugar and other loving family members and numerous friends.
Marie was born and raised in San Antonio, TX where she worked at Josephine Theater in the 70’s. She later left working to raise her wonderful children. She adored her family especially her grandchildren which were her pride and joy. Later in life, she had numerous hobbies. Some of her favorites were bowling and gardening. She loved to talk on the phone almost daily to her best friends Becky and Ann. She also loved to watch her television shows. Some of her favorites were Big Brother and American Ninja Warrior just to name a few. She also loved the San Antonio Spurs and watched the games whenever she could. Marie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly.
Visitation for Marie will begin on Monday, August 5, 2019 from 6pm-8pm at Sunset Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held the next day Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 10am at the funeral home with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
