Marilyn Blackshear

She had the privilege of staying home with her 4 children until attending nursing school at the age of 40. She graduated at the top of her class as a registered nurse and went on to care for countless others including her beloved mother in law, Hallie Blackshear.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Harold Blackshear on August 9, 2024. She is survived by her son Michael and daughters Jerri (Paul), Karen (George), Leslie (Gary). Her grandchildren, Michael, Heather, Nicole (Richard), Jessica (Brandon), Erin, Lindsey and Taylor. And her great grandchildren David, Joshua, Geordan, Jacob, Jadon, Matthew, and Hallie. As well as wealth of additional family members.

Funeral and Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home
