Marilyn was a woman of strong Christian faith and worshipped at The Woods Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas. Marilyn also loved playing the organ and dedicated over 30 years to playing for Crestview Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas. Marilyn’s devotion to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was an integral part of her life.
In her free time, Marilyn enjoyed playing Mah Johng and various card games. Mostly, though, she loved spending time with her family. Nothing pleased her more than a dinner with family or friends. She had a passion for spending time with her sons, Ed and Jeff, and their wives, Pam and Marlie. Marilyn was a proud grandmother to her grandchildren, Aubri, Alari, Adam, Josh, Blaine, and Alan as well as her eight great-grandchildren.
A chapel service for Marilyn will be held Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218.
