

Marina Hernandez, affectionately known as Nore, entered the loving arms of Our Lord on February 28, 2025. She was born on November 25, 1945, in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, to her parents, Adolfo Hernandez and Carmen Garcia de Hernandez. Nore was the seventh of ten children, growing up in a home filled with love and strong family bonds.
Marina devoted her life to caring for her beloved mother, Carmen, who lived to the age of 99. She had a creative spirit and enjoyed crafting, often using her talents to create beautiful dolls. Her passions extended to gardening, cooking, sewing, and home improvement, always finding joy in making things with her hands. Above all, she had a deep love for dancing, embracing every moment with energy and grace.
Marina will be reunited in heaven with her parents, Carmen Garcia de Hernandez and Adolfo Hernandez; siblings, Deliz Hernandez, Adolfina "Fina" Rodriguez, Anabella “Ana” Hernandez, Lydia Espinosa, Laura Thompson and Armandina “Many” Martinez.
The memory of Nore will forever live in her siblings, Lizardo “Chalin” Hernandez, Rosa Elvia Hernandez, Carmen “Carmela” Hernandez, Eduardo “Lalo” Hernandez; numerous nieces and nephews, her beloved companion, Chiska; and numerous extended family and friends.
A visitation for Nore will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 starting at 5:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery #2.
