He is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Cañamar de Morales; wife, Daphne Lufkin-Cañamar; siblings, Brian Morales and Michael Morales and his wife, Melissa; Daughters, Ariyahna Jane Cañamar and Alyssa Ann Cañamar; stepdaughters, Deidre Garcia and Gianna Garcia and stepson, Everett Garcia.

Mario's biggest passion was cars, his favorite being the Trans Am which he had many. You would always find Mario chillin in his RamCharger listening to music. Intelligent, collected, and generous are just a few words that describe him, but his strong truthful words of advice is what makes Marios personality one of a kind. Mario loved and treasured the times he spent with his daughters and they are his world. Whether it was taking Alyssa to the river to fish or having long conversations with Ariyahna, he was always there for them. His passion for cars led him to cross paths with Daphne, They have a bond that is unbreakable built from trust and love, inseparable since the first day they met. Daphne not only met the man of her dreams, her best friend but also blessed her with 2 beautiful step daughters. Mario and Daphne always took the Camaro for a late night cruise around the town doing donuts, burnouts or a little fun race at times. and he loved to drive that car. Mario can drive a car! I have never met someone who can handle a car like he does. It's in his DNA. When he is around friends and family you will always see him smiling, hear his laugh as he loves to joke with everyone. He had many friends but he had a small circle of friends that he called FAMILY, each one had a piece of his heart, he cherished their friendship dearly. Mario does not realize that he brought out the best in people and he was loved by many.

A visitation for Mario will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211.
