Marissa Brittni Martinez

Marissa’s journey in the 27 years that she walked this earth was a life-changing experience to those she came across in her life. She was full of life, love, and happiness which she loved to share with those around her. Her faith, kindness, and empathy will forever be embedded in the hearts of those she crossed paths with. The strength and courage she had was so indescribable and so motivating. She was very intelligent and a graduate from Holmes High School with a scholarship to Our Lady of The Lake University to pursue her degree in Biology. She was a great artist and loved to read and collect anything that she felt had value to it. Anything Marissa put her mind to she could and would do. What a beautiful, kindhearted soul Marissa was, how blessed we were to have had her the 27 years she gave us.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Huerta Ramos, and sister, Miracle Hope Martinez. Marissa is survived by her mother, Christina Anna Martinez; brother, Israel Alijah Martinez; sisters, Alina Star Martinez and Mia Anjelika Martinez; and grandparents, Blanca Estella Martinez and Julian Martinez.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Porter Loring Mortuary West (located near SeaWorld).
